In Rensselaer's season opener, a non-team scoring, multi-divisional meet at SUNY Cortland - and her collegiate outdoor track debut - RPI first-year Julia Hubbard won the triple jump, defeating four others with a distance of 10.27 meters. The runner-up went 10.16. She also competed in the 100 meter dash, finishing fourth of seven with a time of 18.09. Four schools were represented in the event.
