University of Rochester sophomore catcher/designate hitter John Moses was exceptional for Rochester during a 4-2 week for the Yellowjackets. He hit .625 (15-for-24) with eight runs, three doubles and 10 RBI. He added three walks and a hit by pitch for a .679 on-base percentage while also going 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts. Moses had five multi-hit games, four of which included three hits or more. He had 12 total hits in a 4-0 weekend sweep of conference rival St. Lawrence with his best game coming on Saturday when he went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI.
