Playing at No. 1 in Rensselaer's season opener against Skidmore, RPI grad student Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez and senior Andrew Imrie evened the score and the Engineers went on to a 6-3 victory over the previously undefeated Thoroughbreds in Troy. The visitors jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a win at No. 2 doubles but Castillo-Sanchez and Imrie posted an 8-7 (7-5) victory. They both went on to earn victories in singles, at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.
