William Smith College sophomore midfielder Maddie Montgomery led the Herons with seven goals and eight points in a weekend sweep of RIT. She added four ground balls, four draw controls and two caused turnovers. On Friday, she had a team best six points on five goals and an assist. It was her fourth straight game with four-plus goals. Montgomery was credited with the game-winning goal in the victory. On Saturday she had a pair of goals in the win. Montgomery has scored at least two goals in eight of William Smith's nine games this season. She leads the team with 28 goals and 32 points.
