Vassar College junior Melina Stavropoulos and sophomore Tatum Blalock powered their way to victory from the first flight in Vassar's season-opening 7-2 victory at Ithaca last weekend. Facing the Bombers duo of Zoe Davis and Sara Steinberg, Stavropoulos and Blalock posted an 8-4 win to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead following doubles action.
