University of Rochester sophomore Madeline O’Connell competed in two events and posted two top-three finishes for Rochester at the RIT, Rochester & Union Tri-Meet on Saturday to open the outdoor season. Her top event was the pole vault where she won with a height of 3.50 meters, currently a top-10 mark in NCAA Division III this season. Additionally, the sophomore ran the 200 meters and finished in third place with a time of 27.04 seconds.
