University of Rochester first-year Kyle Lane won both horizontal jumps in his collegiate debut outdoors at the RIT, Rochester & Union Tri-Meet on Saturday. His mark in the long jump was 6.67 meters, finishing first of eight. He also won the triple jump with a distance of 13.00 meters. Both marks rank in the top-50 in NCAA Division III, with the long jump distance currently at No. 24.
