University of Rochester senior utility player Jen Carson was productive at the plate during Rochester’s 4-0 weekend sweep of St. Lawrence. The senior hit .583 (7-for-12) with one double, three home runs, 13 RBI and 8 runs scored. Her OPS for the week was a tremendous 2.105 (.688 OBP/1.417 SLG) as she added four walks and went 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts. On Thursday at St. Lawrence, Carson had nine total RBI, seven of which came in game two, tying the school record for RBI in a single game, blasting two home runs in the process. She also scored six runs in Thursday’s sweep, crossing home plate three times in each game.
