At the 15-team BSN Sports Dataw Invitational, RPI junior Ryan Quinn had three birdies (13, 16, 18) and six pars on the back nine on his way to shooting a 70 in the final round. His 54-hole total of 219 (72-77-70) put him in second place, just two strokes behind the winner. He shot a 72 in the first 18 holes before registering a pair of birdies and nine pars on his second 18 for a 77. Quinn was tied for seventh place, two strokes from sixth and three from fifth heading into the final round before finishing tied for second. As a team, the Engineers moved up three spots on the second day thanks to the top score of +5, 293 and finished fourth at the Par 72 - 6789 Yards Dataw Island Club - Cotton Dike Course.
