University of Rochester first-year athlete Susan Bansbach earned an event win and another top-eight result at the Cornell Kane Invitational on Saturday. The first-year runner earned first place in the 400 meters, finishing as the only runner under one minute (59.67 seconds) to qualify for the All-Atlantic Regional meet. Bansbach’s time also ranks her 32nd in Division III so far this season. Additionally, she ran in the 200 meters for the first time in her career and finished eighth, running a time of 26.96 seconds.
