In two meets over the weekend, RPI sophomore Megan Beaulieu won six events and finished second in a seventh to help the Engineers to a dual-meet win and a runner-up in an invitational. In a 200-98 win over Union on Friday night, Beaulieu helped the 200 medley relay team to a win in a time of 1:53.83, won the 200 freestyle in 2:03.02, captured the 200 backstroke in 2:13.42 and swam the anchor on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:42.95). The next day in the RPI Kumpf Invitational, Beaulieu won the 200 backstroke, defeating 13 others with a time of 2:14.40 and finished second of 14 in the 200 individual medley, losing by less than a second (2:16.47 - 2:16.84). She also swam on the victorious 400 medley relay team that won by more than three seconds (4:09.53 - 4:12.85). Rensselaer was second of five schools in the invitational with 557 points. Ithaca won the meet with 602 points.
