University of Rochester first-year Abdelrahman Lasheen was 2-1 during the week, playing at No. 4 for Rochester. He helped the Yellowjackets earn 7-2 wins over #13 Western Ontario (Friday) and #6 Yale (Sunday). Rochester also dropped an 8-1 decision to #2 Trinity during the week. All three of Lasheen’s matches came against players ranked in the top-100 in last seasons year-end individual rankings. He lost in five close games to Trinity’s Thoboki Mohohlo before winning 3-2 over Akasham Rajagopaul (UWO) and in four games over Yale’s Eric Kim.
