Vassar College first-year swimmer Robbie Perot helped the Brewers go 1-1 overall while shattering a long-standing pool record. Perot won the 1,000-free with a season-best time of 9:57.78 - eclipsing the previous Kresge Pool record of 10:02.76 - it was also the fifth time this season he has won the 1,000. Perot also posted victory in the 500-free with another season-best time of 4:50.19. His wins in the 1,000 and 500 mark the fourth straight meet (out of five) in which Perot has won both distance races. He also took fifth in the 100-breast (1:05.28) and helped the 400-free relay to fourth (3:22.25) as Vassar beat New Paltz (194-95) and fell to Franklin & Marshall (165-123).
