William Smith College first-year defender Julia Berg set up the Herons' game-winning goal against Vassar in the Liberty League Championship on Sunday. Berg and the William Smith defense recorded a pair of shutouts to claim their 13th consecutive Liberty League title. The Herons limited St. Lawrence and Vassar to a combined four shots. The Brewers did not get a shot off in the championship game. William Smith has 14 shutouts this season and allowed just four goals.
