William Smith College senior defender Eileen Rath scored the game-winning goal in the Liberty League championship game to help the Herons capture their 13th consecutive conference title. It was her second goal of the season. Rath and William Smith's defensive unit recorded a pair of shutouts and limited both league playoff opponents  (St. Lawrence and Vassar) to a combined four shots on the weekend. The Brewers did not manage a shot in the championship game. William Smith has posted 14 shutouts this season and surrendered a league-low four goals.
