RIT first-year forward Christine Cataldo-Smith scored four goals last week, including her first career hat-trick. Thursday, Cataldo-Smith's goal tied Rochester with her tenth goal of the season in the 67th minute in a 1-1 draw. Saturday, the freshman forward her first career hat-trick in a 3-3 tie at Union. Her goals in the 4th and 50th minutes gave RIT a 2-0 lead. She tallied her third goal in the 81st minute that gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead. Her 13 goals ties her for second all-time at RIT for goals in a season, and is two goals shy of tying the single-season record of 15 set in 1989.
