Vassar College freshman Ariel Bridges, who began her inaugural season at the Monmouth University Season Opener last Saturday, set a Vassar College school record in the 200-meter dash. At Monmouth, Bridges ran a 26:76, good for sixth place in a very fast field of established sprinters that totaled in excess of 55. She also competed in the long jump with 14'8 leap and was a member of the 4 x 400 Relay "A" Team that placed 5th out of 14 teams.
