Vassar College junior Kelly Holmes, already an ECAC qualifier in her specialty event, the 800 meters, qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 5k at the Monmouth University Season Opener. Running the 5k on the track for the first time in her career, Holmes finished in third place behind two Division I Stony Brook runners in 17:50.54. Her time was one of the top five all-time efforts in school history.
