Moore also played a key role in William Smith's defensive unit that pitched a pair of shutouts. On Wedensday against Ithaca, her 85th-minute tally was William Smith's only goal in a 1-0 victory over the Bombers. At the opposite end of the pitch, the Herons limited the Bombers to just six shots. Ithaca came into the game averaging 20.6 shots per game. Against Clarkson, Moore's header goal in the 43rd minute would prove to be the game-winning goal. The Herons defense smothered the Clarkson attack, limiting the Golden Knights to six shots.
