Vassar College first-year player Miriam Gandham had a strong debut at the 2019 ITA Northeast Regional Championship, posting a 4-0 record to advance to the singles semifinal round. Gandham defeated Ithaca's Alex Dyszewski (6-0, 6-2), then Union's Megan Brown (6-1, 6-0) followed by Skidmore's Maya Lal (6-2, 6-2). Gandham, who is the tournament's 10th-seeded player, then defeated ninth-seeded Anastasiia Balyk of NYU in the quarterfinals, 6-4, 6-2. She faces NYU's Coco Kulle in Monday semifinals and is the only Liberty League competitor left in the field.
