The RPI doubles team of first-year players Alex Mednikova and Rani Jones earned the A-flight doubles championship in a four-team invitational hosted by Union College by going 3-0. Mednikova and Jones won their first match 8-2 over a team from Holy Cross and then came back from a 6-2 deficit to beat a tandem from Union 8-7 (8) in the semifinals. Rani and Alex beat another duo from Holy Cross in the final, 8-2.
