Hobart College junior linebacker Emmett Forde and the Statesmen held 13th-ranked Brockport to just a single touchdown in a 33-7 win on Boswell Field. He finished the game with eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and two interceptions. In the first quarter, Forde's sack on third-and-3 results in an 8-yard loss, forcing the Golden Eagles to punt into the wind from their own 4. The ensuing short kick set up Hobart's first touchdown. Both of Forde's interceptions came in the second quarter. He returned his second pick 71 yards to the Brockport 20, setting up another Hobart TD. The 71-yard return is the second-longest interception return by a Statesman in program history.
