At Allegheny's Gator Invitational on Friday, Ithaca College sophomore Samantha Healy won the hammer throw with a mark of 48.37 meters and was the runner-up on the shot at 12.60 meters. The following day at Geneseo, Healy came in third in the shot put with a mark of 11.91 meters and was fourth in the hammer throw at 48.11 meters.
