University of Rochester senior Aiden Finch was named tournament Most Outstanding Player at the 2019 Liberty League baseball Championship over the weekend, helping the Yellowjackets claim their first-ever league title. He went 11-for-23 (.478) from the plate with seven runs, four RBI, three doubles and one home run. He led the tournament in hits, runs, doubles and total bases. His home run proved the difference in an 8-7 game 1 victory Saturday to keep the Yellowjackets alive in the tournament. He had a hit in all five of Rochester’s games and Finch recorded multiple hits in four of them.
