St. Lawrence University rookie pitcher Kyle Plimpton went 5-2 with three saves and three shutouts during the week, including a perfect game. The 8-inning perfect game against Mount Saint Mary College, which was the first perfect game in St. Lawrence softball history, included 20 strikeouts with 17 consecutively through the sixth inning. The Buffalo, N.Y. native accumulated 88 strikeouts in 49.2 innings pitched (1.79 strikeouts/per inning) while compiling a 1.41 ERA.
