University of Rochester first-year player Alizah Ayon recorded a .478 average (11-23) this week as the Yellowjackets went 4-2 across six games. Ayon hit three home runs, scored three runs and drove in a team high 8 runs. She had a hit in every game this week, including multiple hits in four contests. She went 2-3 with two home runs and 3 runs batted in at Fredonia on Wednesday. On Sunday at Clarkson, she went 2-4 with a two-run home run in UR’s victory over the Golden Knights.
