Union College senior midfielder Alex Newhouse had a big week at the X, winning 27-of-35 faceoffs (77.1 percent) in two victories over Montclair State and Ithaca. He started the week by winning 6-of-10 draws with five ground balls against the Red Hawks, then dominated Ithaca by winning 21-of-25 faceoffs and scooping up 13 ground balls while adding an assist off a faceoff in a 14-10 comeback victory.
