In a quad meet with Tufts and Bates at MIT, RPI first-year athlete Evan White was second in the javelin with a throw of 56.42 meters, which trailed only the winner's 57.01 meters. White, who currently ranks 25th on the Division III performance list, reached his max on his third attempt. There were a total of 18 competitors and the winner was a senior from Tufts. As a team, the Engineers finished third with 150.5 points.
