The Ithaca College Varsity Eight won the 2019 Cayuga Duels to open the season. The boat of Jennie Brian, Savannah Brija, Sarah Snow, Lauren O'Dell, Libby Ryan, Sierra Keat, Izzy Ozkurt, Allison Ardnt and Meredyth Busan won the timed trial with a time of 6:47.8, beating William Smith. They went on to win the Grand Final, where they defeated Canisius, with a time of 6:53.7.
