William Smith College sophomore defender Mekayla Montgomey had a team-high 11 ground balls, 12 draw controls and six caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Herons. On Friday against Geneseo, she won seven draws, scooped up five ground balls and had four caused turnovers in a 13-10 win over Geneseo. The next day, she had six ground balls, two caused turnovers hand and five draws in a 9-5 win over Messiah. Montgomery also scored the game-winning goal against the Falcons.
