RPI first-year swimmer Megan Beaulieu earned two All-America Honorable Mention certificates at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship Meet. She was the only freshman to advance to the finals of the 100 backstroke and placed 13th in the event with a 56.35. She swam a 56.42 in the preliminaries before falling just .08 from 12th place and .22 from 11th in the final. The next day in the 200 backstroke, Beaulieu set the school record of 2:02.53 in the preliminaries before touching the wall in 2:04.05 in the final to finish 16th. She also swam in the 200 individual medley, but did not advance through the preliminaries.
