RIT senior Curtis Geiger was selected as the Outstanding Track Performer at the Liberty League Championship. Geiger broke a meet record with a win in the 200 meters, was second in the 60-meter dash and anchored RIT’s 4x400 relay to a meet record time. In the 200, he crossed the finish line in 22.22 seconds and his victory narrowly eclipsed the record set at last year’s championship by Ithaca's Daniel Harden-Marshall (22.24). In the 60-meters, he finished in 7.01 seconds, just behind St. Lawrence sophomore Ian Clough who broke a meet record in the event. In the 4x400 relay, RIT’s team, consisting of Geiger, Christopher Callejo, Stephen Morrissey and Jeff Walter, finished with a meet record time of 3:22.51, shattering the mark of 3:23.21 by more than a second set at the 2018 championship by Ithaca. Geiger ran the final leg of the relay in 49.26 seconds.
