University of Rochester sophomore Ashley Davies completed a perfect dual-match season for Rochester, going 3-0 at the CSA Potter Cup Tournament at #1 for the Yellowjackets. He won all three matches by 3-0 sweeps, helping Rochester finish fourth in the CSA. On Friday he defeated Adhitya Raghavan of Princeton 11-3, 11-4, 11-4 in Rochester’s 7-2 win in the quarterfinals. The following day, he kept Rochester alive in an eventual 5-4 loss to Trinity, taking down the CSA’s #2 ranked player Kush Kumar in three games (11-8, 11-8, 16-14). On Sunday, he completed the weekend with a 3-0 sweep over #5 ranked Andrew Douglas of Penn by scores of 11-9, 11-7 and 11-4.
