University of Rochester first-year runner Dakata Kosi Banchale finished eighth (of 25) in the 400-meter run at the FastTrack National Invitational on Friday. He was the second Division III finisher in the event and clocked in with a personal-best time of 49.65 seconds, a time which ranks in the top-40 in Division III this season. Banchale also competed on UR’s 4 x 400 meter relay which placed fourth of 11 teams (first Division III team) in a seasons-best time of 3:22.49.
