University of Rochester junior Michaela Burrell posted top-8 finishes in both the 60 meters and 200 meters in a meet featuring numerous Division I and II schools at the FastTrack National Invitational Friday. Burrell was the lone Division III runner to make the finals in the 60 meters, clocking in at 7.74 seconds in both the prelims and finals to finish fifth of 85 runners. Her time set a Rochester record, breaking her own mark set last week. In addition, the junior ran to a sixth-place finish in the 200 meter event and was again the top Division III finisher among 24 runners. She posted a time of 25.40 seconds which also is a new school record at UR. Her time in the 60 meter is currently fifth in NCAA Division III and her 200 meter time is 14th.
