St. Lawrence University freshman Jamal Samaroo broke a 27-year old SLU record with a leap of 14.32 meters in the triple jump at the ECAC Championships. It was the longest standing field record in St. Lawrence program history. He finished fourth in the event. He also ran on the sixth place 4x200 relay.
