University of Rochester junior Michaela Burrell was a double-winner on Saturday at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational, winning the 200 meters and competing on Rochester's 4x400-meter relay. In the 200, Burrell posted a time of 26.22 seconds to place first of 68 runners, finishing with an AARTFC qualifying time and a time which is 31st in Division III and first in the Liberty League. The 4x400-meter relay also had an All-Atlantic Regional qualifying time of 4:04.35 which was 1st of 12 teams. She also finished 10th of 39 in the long jump with a mark of 5.09 meters, which was her first-ever collegiate performance in the event.
