In the first meet of the season, the multi-divisional UMass Boston Indoor Opener, RPI first-year athlete Jacy Scharlow won the high jump with a height of 1.70 meters to beat the field of 31 competitors. The runner up also reached 1.70 meters. Saturday's meet was non team scoring.
