In a 38-14 NCAA playoff game win over Husson, RPI sophomore George Marinopoulos completed 16 of 26 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. His scoring strikes came in the second quarter (34 yards at 00:00 of half), third quarter (16 yards) and fourth quarter (12 yards) to give the Engineers leads of 14-7, 24-7 and 31-14. They were to three different wide receivers. Marinopoulos completed 11 of 19 passes for 207 yards with a touchdown in the first half before registering only two incomplete passes (5 of 7) with two touchdowns in the final 30 minutes.
