RIT first-year Katie Hobler was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2018 Liberty League Championship in leading the Tigers to its first league title. On Friday, Hobler hit .379 with 28 kills to go along with a career-best 26 digs in a five-set thriller over Vassar in the semifinals, including three straight to end the match. Saturday, Hobler had a match-high 19 kills and 12 digs in a four-set win over Clarkson. She has a team-high 489 kills and is hitting .325 this season with 550 total points (4.91/set).
