William Smith College first-year Katie Mullin helped the Herons earn a 161-78 win at Alfred on Saturday. She led off the winning 200-yard medley relay team, swimming the 50 backstroke in 28.80. Mullin also earned an individual win in the 200 free, stopping the clock at 2:02.31, more than five seconds ahead of the runner-up. She wrapped up her day with a second place finish (behind teammate Anna Leffler) in the 100 backstroke. Mullin's time of 1:02.28 was 0.6 seconds behind Leffler. Mullin, who won the 50 and 500 free and swam with the winning 200 medley relay team last week against Utica, hasn't been beaten by an opposing team yet this season.
