Vassar College freshman Claire Coss had her first games of her collegiate career this weekend, going 3-1 at the No. 1 position for Vassar. Coss edged out Fordham's Emily Couch 3-2 at the first position. She took the first-two sets 11-7 and 11-8 before Couch rallied for 11-8 and 14-12 wins. Coss then cruised to an 11-6 victory in the final set. Then against Georgetown, she won 3-2 against a higher ranked opponent. On Sunday, Coss recorded a 3-0 over Boston University with scores of 11-6, 11-8 and 11-9.
