William Smith College junior Anna Leffler broke a pair of Bristol Pool records to lead the Herons to a 130-70 season-opening win over Utica on Saturday. In the 400-yard individual medley, Leffler posted a winning time of 4:50.36, lowering the 36-year-old pool record by 3.39 seconds. In the 200 backstroke, she clocked in with a winning time of 2:13.03, shaving 2.16 seconds off a 35-year-old pool standard. She also swam the leadoff leg of the 200 medley relay that finished second behind the other William Smith 200 medley relay entry.
