In the first meet of the season, a 203-96 win over RIT, RPI senior Noah Pan won each of the four events in which he was entered. Individually, Pan won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:00.14 and the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.98. He was a full second in front of the runner-up (2:01.14) in the 200 and he won the 100 by over two seconds (55.03). In relays, two wins, Pan swam the opening leg of the 200 medley (1:36.13) and was the third competitor in the 400 free (3:13.97). The Engineers won the former by almost two seconds (1:38.96) and the latter by nearly six seconds (3:19.57).
