At the Saratoga National Golf Club Invitational, RPI sophomore Austin Rupp finished fifth overall with a two-day score of 72-74 - 146, which was +2 on the Par 72, 6744-yard course. He had four birdies in the first round, including three straight on holes 3, 4 and 5. On Sunday, Austin had eight pars and a birdie on the front nine before registering a 39 on the back. RPI was third in the field of nine teams with a +16 592, which was two strokes behind both Babson and Trinity (590 each).
