Ithaca College first-year Denielle Newman turned in the best performance of her young collegiate career this past weekend, posting a career-best for 18-holes and 36-holes en route to a ninth-place finish at the Martin-Wallace Invitational. Sunday was the highlight of her fall to-date, as she improved nine-strokes from her Saturday score to turn in a career-best 84 (+12). The round helped her climb the leaderboard to land in the Top-10 for the first time in four tournament's this fall. The 36-hole score of 177 (+33) was also a career best for Newman.
