Matsuoka was named MVP of the Liberty League Championships after leading the Brewers to a second straight title. She had 20 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in the final against St. Lawrence. In the semifinal win over RPI she tallied 19 points with 2 assists. In the two playoff wins, Matsuoka averaged 19.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.5 apg, shot .48 percent from the field and .40 percent from 3-point distance. She played 78 of a possible 80 minutes.
