At the ITA Northeast Regional Championship at Hobart, RPI first-year player Dylan Payne reached the round of 16 in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles. Individually, Payne defeated an opponent from TCNJ in the first round, 7-5, 6-1, and beat an opponent from Hobart in the second round, 6-4, 6-3, before losing to the No. 1 seed (JT Wynne of Skidmore), 7-6 (8-6), 6-1. In doubles with playing partner Zack Ebenfeld, Payne won 8-1 in the first round against a team from NYU and beat a tandem from Skidmore, 8-6, in the second round. Payne and Ebenfeld then lost a quarterfinal match to the eventual champions, 8-5.
