University of Rochester senior Kate Tiffany was the Yellowjackets' best defender, locking down Ithaca's attackers in Rochester's 2-0 victory on Saturday. She helped Rochester move to 10-0, 2-0 Liberty League on the season. Overall, she and the Rochester defense allowed just two shots and one shot on goal in the game. Ithaca also recorded only three penalty corners. All three were well below the Bombers' averages entering the game as the Bombers averaged 11.7 shots per game, 7.8 SOG per game and 9.0 corners per game prior to the match.
