RPI senior Sean O'Connor won the Saratoga Invitational with a time of 25:03.4, defeating the field of 240, including the runner-up (teammate Grant O'Connor) by nearly nine seconds. He ran the 8K course in Saratoga Spa State Park at a 5:03 pace. The No. 3 Engineers won the team title with 26 points with Williams College, which is No. 6 in the latest USTFCCCA Poll, coming in second (65), followed by No. 26 St. Lawrence (107). There were 14 schools in the event.
